A company has created a NES clone system which attaches to the DS and allows you to play Japanese NES cartridges while using the DS as a controller and playing back the games on a mini TV screen. The key flaw of the product is that it doesn't actually use the DS hardware to run the game. So esssentially, it's like strapping a working NES on the back of your DS and unlike flash cards which use emulation, the hardware itself is actually running the games.
