The charity Sense About Science has accused celebrities of confusing people with misleading endorsements for products and theories based on poor understanding of the science involved. Dr Kawashima's Brain Training was singled out for its celebrity endorsements by Nicole Kidman and Julie Walters. Neuroscientist Dr Jason Braithwaite said "There is no conclusive evidence that the continued use of these devices is linked to any measurable improvement in cognition."
