An SCEA rep has revealed that Sony has decided to discontinue the PSP's extended life battery kit, this was a bit of a kit that nearly doubled the battery life on PSP-2000 consoles but was more expensive and had a lot of bulk to it. The rep confirmed they are looking for other 'opportunities to service the customer'.
